How did i start Mole & crown?

From a young age, I was captivated by luxury watches, particularly Rolex. My admiration wasn’t just for their aesthetic, but for the craftsmanship, history, and evolution behind each piece. My passion for watches truly began to grow when I inherited my first Rolex from my grandfather. I often wonder if I would have developed such a deep interest in timepieces if I hadn’t received that watch. It sparked something in me, and I found myself diving deeper into the world of watches, eager to learn more about the various models, their histories, and the stories they tell.

I soon realized that collecting watches is about more than just acquiring them. It’s about the experience—the excitement of purchasing your first watch, expanding your collection, or celebrating a personal milestone. I believe that every watch purchase should be a memorable experience, and that’s what I strive to offer my customers.

Originally, I started my business under the name Môle Vintage Watches. However, as my journey evolved, I felt it was important to rebrand in a way that truly reflected my heritage. I changed the name to Mole & Crown as a tribute to my grandfather. My last name, Mol (which translates to "Mole" in English), and my grandfather’s last name, Kroon (which means "Crown" in English), inspired this new name. It's a meaningful way to honor both my family and the legacy I inherited.

What I love most about selling watches is not just offering my customers a memorable experience, but also the challenge of finding a timepiece in perfect condition. It’s in this process that most of the effort goes into.

The world of watches is built on authenticity, honesty, trust, and reliability—values that make this profession so special. I take great pride in researching each watch’s history, ensuring its authenticity, and continually learning new things along the way.
